Jon Moxley, the reigning AEW World Champion, has officially surpassed the 200-day milestone as champion. He won the title on October 12, 2024, at WrestleDream by defeating Bryan Danielson.
Since that historic victory, Moxley has successfully defended his title five times against some of the top wrestlers in the industry, including Swerve Strickland and Adam Copeland.
This is Moxley’s fourth reign as AEW World Champion and his second-longest. His longest reign lasted 277 days, from February 29 to December 2, 2020. This current reign is now the fourth-longest in AEW history, behind Moxley’s own 277-day reign, Kenny Omega’s 346-day reign, and MJF’s 406-day reign.
In total, Moxley has held the AEW World Championship for 548 days, more than any other wrestler in history. His next title defense will be against Samoa Joe at AEW Beach Break on May 14.
