Lance Storm On The TNA Locker Room’s Reaction To Tessa Blanchard’s Return

Pro wrestling veteran and TNA Producer Lance Storm recently appeared on an episode of the โ€œFigure Four Dailyโ€ podcast, where he talked about a number of topics including Tessa Blanchard returning to TNA,

Storm said, โ€œA, Iโ€™ve always liked Tessa. I first met her back at a NWA convention in Charlotte. Iโ€™ve known her for a long time, worked with her briefly in her last and my first TNA run. I do think that, at some point, people deserve second chances. I donโ€™t know if mistakes, no matter how bad you make when youโ€™re young, should follow you the rest of your life. Iโ€™m hoping it will work out for her and everyone. Weโ€™ll see how things go.โ€

On how people reacted backstage to her return:

โ€œItโ€™s wrestling. Everybody is going to react professionally. If you were against it, you would probably avoid her. I only saw positive responses and interactions. Most people donโ€™t want to make a scene, so if there were people who werenโ€™t happy about it, they kept quiet. All I saw was positive reactions. Clearly, sheโ€™s a very talented worker.โ€

On how Tessa Blanchard handled the allegations against her:

โ€œI think she would have been smart to apologize, say, โ€˜I was young and stupid,โ€™ ages ago because people have been forgiven for much less, faster. Not issuing that apology made it drag out a long period of time. Do people deserve a second chance at some point? Iโ€™d like to think so.โ€
