Linda Hogan, the ex-wife of WWE legend Hulk Hogan, has shared a deeply emotional and raw tribute following his passing last week. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Linda opened up about her grief, their painful past, and the enduring love she still felt for the man known to the world as Hulkamania.
Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) died on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71.
“I Loved Hulkster More Than He Loved Me”
Linda Hogan didn’t hold back in her statement, expressing a wave of emotions that painted a picture of a complicated but unbreakable bond. “I’m melting down now. It’s very sad. I love you Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me. RIP.”
She candidly reflected on the betrayal that ended their marriage, saying: “It hurt when he cheated… I never got over him or started a real relationship w anyone… I missed HIM!”
Despite their separation, Linda explained that she always felt a lingering connection through their son, Nick Hogan. “Even tho I never spoke or saw him, Nick did… and Nick would tell me things and vice versa… I still felt… although broken… we still were a family.”
Linda and Hulk Hogan were married for 24 years, beginning in 1983. She was by his side during the rise of Hulkamania and throughout his most iconic WWE moments.
From 2005 to 2007, their family life was chronicled on the VH1 reality series “Hogan Knows Best”, giving fans an inside look at the Hogan household. But the picture-perfect image soon shattered when the couple endured a highly public divorce, finalized in 2009.
The split was messy and tabloid-fueled, with years of tension and legal battles dominating the headlines. Despite all of that, Linda’s post reveals a love that never fully faded.
Linda’s touching tribute adds a deeply personal dimension to the many tributes honoring Hulk Hogan’s legendary career. While WWE has focused on his in-ring accomplishments and pop culture legacy, Linda’s message is a reminder of the real human being behind the wrestling icon.
Her words provide an intimate and honest view of a bond that lasted decades, through love, heartbreak, and the pain of loss.
