After Akira is introduced, we are shown a clip from two weeks ago when RSP shaved Akira’s head. The remaining contestants begin coming down. Brett Ryan Gosselin was the last entrant to come down. Love, Doug didn’t let Gosselin even get down the ramp by attacking him on stage as the match begins.

In the match’s closing moments, Price hits a splash over the top rope onto four other competitors outside the ring. Back in the ring, it’s Akira and Price fighting. Akira hits the Death Penalty on Price for the three-count.

Officials came down to separate the two.

Cameras are in the back as Salina de la Renta is talking to Rocky Romero, Jesus Rodriguez, and Janai Kai. Salina noticed a brown sack on the chair. She became upset, asking them who put it there. Everyone denied it. Salina storms off, saying she has to find out who did it. Dombrowski promotes Fatu Vs. Hammerstone, later in the episode.

* Triple Threat Match: Zayda Steel Vs. Tiara James Vs. Notorious Mimi

Tiara James comes out first, followed by Notorious Mimi. Before Zayda Steel is introduced, we get a segment with her and MSL in the dressing room. She talks about wanting a Featherweight Championship Match. MSL seems hesitant to contact Salina about a match with Janai Kai. Steel reminded MSL that, as her promoter, he should be able to make that happen. He said he’ll make a call to Salina. Back to the arena, Steel is introduced and comes down to the ring with MSL.

James hit an overhead neck breaker to Steel and had the pinfall. However, MSL pulled James’ leg from under the rope, pulling her off of Steel. Off the distraction, Steel hits her I’m Prettier finisher on James to pick up the pinfall.

Result: Zayda Steel defeats Tiara James & Notorious Mimi

MSL and Steel celebrate together in the ring and on the ring ramp. There is a commercial promoting Janai Kai vs Hyper Misao at MLW’s Kings Of Colosseum for the Featherweight Championship. A video shows the Battle Royal on the last episode of Fusion, where Bishop throws Justice over the top rope and through a table to win the match. The next match is set to begin.

* Matthew Justice Vs. Josh Bishop

Justice and Bishop go back and forth with each other. The match makes its way to outside the ring. Chairs and a table are brought into the ring. The ref is allowing them to use weapons.

MSL distracts Justice when he goes to the top rope. Bishop grabs the table and used it as a weapon against Justice. Justice comes back with a spear for a two-count. MSL grabs Justice’s leg, and off the distraction, Bishop picks Justice up and power-bombs him into the table set up in the corner to pick up the three-count.

Result: Josh Bishop defeats Matthew Justice.

As Bishop makes his way up the ramp to the back, Justice comes and hits him from behind. They continued to fight to the back.

We go to a room where Salina de la Renta poses and then beats up the cameraman, Charlie, stating that’s what will happen to Ichiban tonight.

A video package is shown of the feud between Kevin Blackwood and Tony Deppen. Dombrowski announces that match for tonight as we go to a commercial break.

* Tony Deppen (w/ TJ Crawford & Griffin McCoy) Vs Kevin Blackwood

The match starts quickly, with Blackwood taking the fight to Deppen. Deppen exposes the top turnbuckle. McCoy and Crawford try to get involved on the ring apron but get knocked off by Blackwood. Blackwood has Deppen in an ankle lock that Deppen rolls out of, causing Blackwood to go headfirst into the exposed turnbuckle. Deppen then rolls up Blackwood for the pinfall in a short match.

Result: Wasted Youth defeated The Mane Event & Griffin McCoy & TJ Crawford.

Cameras catch up with Bishop and Justice who makes their way fighting on the roof. Officials are trying to break them up. Justice lays Bishop on a table and then climbs up the roof ladder and hits a flying elbow onto Bishop. We go to a commercial break.

The history is shown between Love, Doug, and Brett Ryan Gosselin. Dombrowski talks about their upcoming Love Is Blind match at Kings Of Collessum.

In the arena, Jesus Rodriguez comes down and introduces Salina de la Renta, accompanied by Rocky Romero and Janai Kai. Next, Rodriguez hilariously introduces Ichiban.

Inter-gender Match: Salina de la Renta Vs. Ichiban

The match begins with Salina calling Romero, Kai, and Rodriguez into the ring to try to attack Ichiban but he fights them off.  Salina then sprays something in Ichiban’s face, causing the ref to disqualify her.

Result: Ichiban defeats Salina de la Renta via DQ.

All four ambush and beat up on Ichiban. The officials try to break it up as Romero takes Ichiban’s mask off his face. Mascara Dorada comes down and runs off all four as Ichiban remains in the ring as we go to a commercial break.

Back from the break, we are shown clips of Justice and Bishop fighting on the roof. This takes us into our next match for the MLW Tag Team Championship.

The matchup begins with Kane and Good Brother III. They both begin to hit elbows and lay chops on each other.

A double tag is made, and now Manders and Thomas begin chopping each other. Thomas gets the better of the exchange. Kane and Good Brother start battling outside.

Later in the match, Kane hits Manders with a body splash on the ring apron. Kane had Manders in an ankle lock when Steel and MSL came down from WTF to cause a distraction. Holliday comes down, and Kane begins fighting outside the ring with him, causing the ref to call for the bell.

Result: Tag Team Championship Match ends in a No Contest

In the ring Lawlor and Bishop from the WTF are in the ring with chairs, battling SGC and BFC members as officials try to break it up. Dombroswki then promotes the MLW World Title Match at Kings Of Colosseum between Champions Second Gear Crew & World Titan Federation.

A camera catches an exchange between Janai Kai and Delmi Exo. Kai asks Exo how she’s doing, but references to her as former champ. This upsets Exo and causes the two to start fighting as officials break them apart. Two masked men from Aztec Lucha come in and hand Exo an envelope. Dombrowski asks what could be in the envelope and then announces the main event between Hammerstone and Kane coming up next as we go to a commercial break.

Back from the break, we are shown replay clips of action from the previous match. Dombrowski announces the match again between Second Gear Crew and World Title Federation for the MLW Tag Team Championships at MLW Kings Of Colosseum.

* Jacob Fatu Vs. Alex Hammerstone (w/MSL)

The crowd is firmly behind Fatu. Fatu takes control of the action and hits a suicide dive between the second rope onto Hammerstone. Fatu then hits a moonsault from the corner for a two-count. Fatu goes to hit Hammerstone in the corner, but Hammerstone pulls the ref in front of him. Hammerstone hits Fatu with a pump kick. He has now taken control of the match.

There were many nearfalls. Fatu hits a super hurricanrana from the top rope on Hammerstone. Fatu goes up to the top turnbuckle as Hammerstone pushes the ref into the ring ropes, causing Fatu to fall. Hammerstone hits a massive belly-to-belly from the top rope on Fatu for the closest near fall yet!

Hammerstone hits the nightmare pendulum for another near fall! The crowd chants, “This is awesome!” Fatu comes back and hits the alley uce and double spring moonsault. Shortly after, he hits a Samoan spike and then another double spring moonsault to pick up the three count to get his first victory over Hammerstone.

Result: Jacob Fatu defeats Alex Hammerstone

MSL leaves Hammerstone in the ring, and as Hammerstone leaves the ring, he and Jacob Fatu embrace for a hug outside the ring. Fatu leaves as Hammerstone stays behind and grabs a mic.

Hammerstone says he’s not supposed to be talking right now on the mic and may get in trouble, but he has to say something. He thanked Court Bauer and MLW for taking a chance on him when no one else would. He credited MLW for turning him from a boy into the man he is today.

He said he may not be in an MLW ring for the foreseeable future, but from this point forward, he will be the guy that MLW built. The crowd starts duel chants of “Thank you, Alex” and “Hammerstone.”

He said it’s not about him but the hungry boys and girls in the back. He was just a spoke on the wheel that keeps turning. He closes by telling the crowd he loves them as the crowd cheers! Court Bauer meets Hammerstone on the entrance stage, and they hug as Bauer thanks him.

From there, we go to Matt Riddle talking on Twitter about coming to MLW this new year and facing Jacob Fatu. He told Fatu I’ll see you soon, as we go off the air.
