WWE has added another tag team match to tonight’s episode of NXT.
The company announced that Cruz Montana and EK Prosper will join forces to face The Vanity Project on the September 15 show.
The match was set up through a social media video in which Montana and Prosper reflected on their loss from last week before being interrupted by The Vanity Project.
WWE wrote: “After reflecting on last week’s loss, Cruz Montana and EK Prosper are interrupted by The Vanity Project, leading to a tag team match TONIGHT on WWE NXT,” WWE wrote.
The announcement did not clarify whether The Vanity Project’s NXT Tag Team Championships will be on the line, indicating that the bout is currently being promoted simply as a tag team match.
The match joins a lineup that already includes Mason Rook vs. Tony D’Angelo vs. Saquon Shugars in a Triple Threat Match to determine a challenger for the NXT Championship, Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux vs. Osiris Griffin and Cutler James, and Kali Armstrong vs. Lizzy Rain.
Myles Borne is also scheduled to issue a public apology to Tavion Heights during tonight’s show.
