WWE returned to India last Friday for the first time since 2017 with WWE Superstar Spectacle at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium (Gachibowli Indoor Stadium), for a show that aired exclusively in India.
In the main event, John Cena and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defeated Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci of Imperium.
Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Drew McIntyre defeated Indus Sheer (Veer, Sanga, and Jinder Mahal) in another exciting match.
According to PWInsider, the WWE crew that attended the show had a tight travel schedule in order to return to the United States in time for tonight’s RAW.
The report stated, “The trip was pretty rough in that it was in the area of 19 hours flights each way, with the talents landing, going right into media interviews, then performing live and heading right back to the airport for another 19-hour flight.”
Despite the long hours, they were told that the “atmosphere live was absolutely insane and loud in terms of electricity.”
