Sammy Guevara has provided a brief update as he continues to spend time away from AEW and Ring Of Honor programming.
Guevara’s status has generated some discussion in recent months, with the former TNT Champion making only sporadic appearances across AEW, ROH and CMLL since June.
AEW President Tony Khan addressed Guevara’s situation in July amid speculation surrounding his standing with the company, but Guevara has remained largely absent from television.
Over the weekend, Guevara offered an update of his own through his YouTube channel. He posted a photo of himself training in the gym and made it clear that he intends to remain prepared whenever his next opportunity arrives.
“All I can do is stay ready,” Guevara wrote as the caption to the photo.
Guevara did not provide any additional details regarding his absence or indicate when fans might see him return to AEW or ROH programming.
