Shotzi Reveals Scrapped Plan For All-Female “Chick DX” Faction In WWE

Former WWE star Shotzi Blackheart has opened up about her time in WWE and some of the dream matches and creative ideas that never came to fruition. Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Shotzi revealed the opponents she wished she had the chance to face on television and an ambitious concept for a faction she envisioned as a modern-day, all-female version of D-Generation X.

While she worked with many of WWE’s top women, one name still stands out as a missed opportunity.

“Asuka was always a dream match of mine. I got to wrestle her on a bunch of live events, but never one-on-one on TV. So I would have loved to do something with her,” Shotzi said.

She also expressed admiration for Alexa Bliss, saying she had always been a fan, and fondly remembered tagging with Charlotte Flair.

Perhaps the most intriguing revelation came when Shotzi spoke about her short-lived faction in NXT alongside Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley.

“But I mean, more recently forming the group with Gigi and Tatum. I really loved working with those girls, and I thought we would be the new chick DX. I was really in love with us.”

Though the group never had the chance to fully develop on-screen, Shotzi clearly saw star potential in the trio and believed they could have made a major impact in the women’s division.
