WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker could soon be stepping into a new role behind the scenes.
According to wrestling veteran Konnan, “The Deadman” has been actively involved backstage at recent major WWE events and is reportedly interested in joining WWE’s creative team on a more permanent basis.
Speaking on his Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan revealed that he saw The Undertaker backstage at the AAA Worlds Collide show and noted that the legendary figure also contributed to the creative process for WWE Money in the Bank 2025.
“Yes, bro was running around. So I think that Undertaker wants to get into creative,” Konnan stated. “He likes it a lot, and he was in creative at Money in the Bank. He was at the other one [Worlds Collide] and he’s very interested in being part of the creative team.”
Since retiring from in-ring action after his Boneyard Match with AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36, The Undertaker has spoken openly about his struggles adjusting to life outside of the ring. However, a backstage role in creative may offer the legend a new sense of purpose — and an opportunity to help guide the next generation of WWE talent.
Konnan also added that he believes The Undertaker has a strong mind for the business, and that some of his ideas have resonated with those in the room.
“He has good ideas,” Konnan continued. “I think he would do well there.”
If The Undertaker were to take on a full-time creative position, it would mark a major shift for WWE and provide the company with one of the most respected and experienced minds in wrestling history helping shape its future.
