The Nemeths Promo:
Ryan said the Nemeths are the greatest family in the history of wrestling. Nic said he was now above the law and could buy his way out of anything. He then turned his attention to Leon Slater. Nic sarcastically said that all the kids out there, like Slater, should follow their dreams and bet on themselves… unless it’s against him!
Leon Slater made his way to the ring and said that he wasn’t looking to steal the spotlight; he just wanted to look Nic in the eyes and tell him how it was going to go down. Slater said that he gets things done, and what he’s going to get done is becoming the youngest World Champion in TNA history.
Slater then said that the Nemeths’ tag team titles were looking real nice. That brought out Ricky Sosa, but Ryan cut him off. He said that Daria would never give them a title shot, which brought out hometown hero and Director of Authority Santino Marella.
Marella said that Daria didn’t have to allow it because he would. He then made the match official: Leon Slater and Ricky Sosa vs. The Nemeths for the TNA World Tag Team Titles later tonight.
Backstage:
Order 4 was backstage, where the VP of Strategic Affairs said that Mustafa Ali was still hospitalized following Lockdown. As a result, John Skyler would take Ali’s place alongside Special Agent Zero against Jason Hotch and Trey Miguel later in the evening. It was also announced that with Ali absent, Skyler was the acting leader of Order 4.
Elijah vs. Bear Bronson w/Brian Myers
During the match, Myers attempted to get involved, but his interference was unsuccessful.
RESULT: Elijah defeated Bear Bronson via pinfall with Highwayman’s Farewell.
After the match, the rest of The System arrived and joined Myers and Alisha Edwards in attacking Elijah.
Backstage:
Elayna Black joined the show from the basement. She said that she was proud of her performance at Lockdown but disappointed that she didn’t win the Knockouts World Title against Xia Brookside.
Elayna wondered if this was karma but said she was doing this to be a role model and show that she has a mission. She vowed that she would eventually achieve her goal.
John Skyler & Special Agent Zero vs. Jason Hotch & Trey Miguel
RESULT: Jason Hotch & Trey Miguel defeated John Skyler & Special Agent Zero via pinfall after Miguel hit a Meteora on Skyler for the win.
After the match, a bedridden Mustafa Ali appeared on the screen. He congratulated Hotch for putting him in the hospital by fracturing his ribs at Lockdown. Ali said that he believes he and Hotch have taken things too far and that too many people are getting hurt.
Ali proposed a truce and suggested that Hotch rejoin Order 4. Ali said that the choice was Hotch’s before the feed cut out, leaving Hotch in the ring with a decision to make.
Backstage:
The Righteous approached BDE and Rich Swann and asked whether BDE had considered their offer. Swann told them they should get the hell out of there.
Dutch then suggested that he and BDE go one-on-one. Vincent said that when BDE loses, he should reconsider their offer.
Avary Styles Interview:
Styles said it’s been “awesome” to be signed to TNA. Moose walked in and congratulated him on his contract before advising Avary to be careful about who he associates with.
Moose suggested that Styles stay away from Frankie Kazarian, which caused Kazarian to appear and tell Moose to shut up. Kazarian said he was looking out for Styles and told Moose to stay out of his ear.
Knockouts TV Championship Tournament Final – M By Elegance (w/The Elegance Brand) vs. Jada Stone
RESULT: M By Elegance defeated Jada Stone via pinfall with a roll-up slam to become the inaugural TNA Knockouts TV Champion.
Backstage:
Matt Hardy was being loaded into an ambulance as a concerned Jeff Hardy looked on. Jeff went with him.
Indi Hartwell Promo:
Hartwell said she was angry that Daria Rae claimed she didn’t deserve a title shot. Hartwell said that she’s been obsessed with wrestling since she was eight years old and that there is no Plan B for her. She’s given wrestling everything she has and has never been more ready.
That brought out Daria Rae, who called Hartwell “horribly mediocre.” Daria said that Hartwell doesn’t deserve anything simply because she is “obsessed” with wrestling. Rae said that Hartwell isn’t a draw and told her to take her underperforming self back to catering.
Hartwell responded by calling her “Diarrhea!” Hartwell said that Rae had gotten soft, while Rae threatened to kick her ass back to “Kangaroo Land” if she ever got in the ring with her.
Hartwell fired back that just because Rae’s career was a failure, she shouldn’t take it out on everyone else.
Rae turned to leave, but Zoey Serrano (FKA Zoey Stark) arrived and attacked Hartwell from behind. Rae introduced Serrano as TNA’s newest Knockout, and the two shook hands.
Backstage:
Harley Hudson approached Indi Hartwell and assured her that she had her back. Xia Brookside then walked by and mocked Hartwell for believing she deserved a shot at the Knockouts World Title.
Santino Marella arrived and said that if Rae wouldn’t make the match, he could. Rae then appeared and said that she had taken the night’s business to the board, which would punish Hartwell.
Santino responded by making a tag team match for next week: Indi Hartwell & Harley Hudson vs. Xia Brookside & Zoey Serrano.
Also announced for next week, KC Navarro will face Joe Alonzo in the first qualifying match for the six-way match at Bound For Glory to crown a new X-Division Champion.
TNA World Tag Team Championship Match – Leon Slater & Ricky Sosa vs. Nic Nemeth & Ryan Nemeth (c)
RESULT: Nic Nemeth & Ryan Nemeth defeated Ricky Sosa & Leon Slater via pinfall with the Danger Zone to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships.
