Wrestling podcast host JD from NY criticized a segment during this week’s edition of AEW Collision, writing that “nobody believes” in Daniel Garcia. JD called a fan who supported Garcia “stupid,” and AEW President Tony Khan responded.
This was the exchange:
JD: โLOL. Orange Cassidy has been over exposed. Daniel Garcia? Nobody believes in him. Private Party? Tony Khan has booked them into obscurity for 4 years. It all reeks of desperation, instead of planned long term investment.โ
Fan: โWe do believe in Daniel Garciaโฆโ
JD: โNo you donโt LOL. You only believe because youโre fucking stupid to what actually is going on.โ
Khan: โWhy would you tell a fan that theyโre stupid for just expressing their opinion. Everyone is allowed to have beliefs and opinions, it doesnโt make them stupid.โ
JD: โBecause I can Tony. ITS ALL SUBJECTIVEโ
Khan: โYes exactly, itโs all subjective. Thatโs why Iโve never called you stupid once in 5 years, despite the fact that I often disagree with your opinions.โ
