WWE Monday Night RAW became exclusive to Netflix in the United States and most international markets starting January 1, 2025. This change is part of a 10-year agreement between WWE and the streaming service. Viewers can replay episodes that have aired on the platform since the deal began. However, WWE’s older RAW video library has not received similar treatment.
Currently, Netflix’s WWE RAW: Vault video library includes episodes from 1993 to 2001, primarily focusing on the Attitude Era, and then jumps directly to 2022. Most episodes from the 2000s and 2010s are unavailable, and some years have fewer than 10 episodes in the existing archive.
Dave Meltzer discussed this situation on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio. He mentioned that Netflix is not prioritizing the older RAW episodes. While he believes these episodes will eventually become available, he suggested that content concerns and standards might be behind Netflix’s current approach to their release.
Meltzer also noted that a similar situation affects WWE SmackDown. The Netflix SmackDown Vault currently features only 2 to 6 episodes for each year between 2000 and 2008, and there are no SmackDown episodes available from 2009 to 2021.
