CJ Perry has checked in on social media with another update on her condition.
As noted, the former WWE Superstar known as Lana had to pull out of scheduled bookings for AEW and CMLL recently after being hospitalized with an infection, which got worse over time and resulted in surgery.
On Tuesday evening, Perry surfaced via Instagram with a video and a statement updating fans on what is going on.
“I have been in the hospital since Saturday fighting a fatal infection that came from getting a small splinter backstage at work this past Wednesday,” she wrote. “Please keep me in your prayers. And everyone really take care of any cuts you get. As small as a splinter can turn into a deadly infection. Love all of you guys and thank you to everyone who has reached out.”
