As previously reported by PWMania.com, WrestleMania 42 will no longer take place in New Orleans, Louisiana, as originally expected. However, the city is still in line to host future WWE events, including the 2026 Money in the Bank premium live event.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque confirmed the update via his official Twitter (X) account, stating that WrestleMania 42 will be relocated to a new, undisclosed location. While he did not provide further details, he did announce that Money in the Bank will be held in New Orleans on August 29, 2026, with the city also expected to host a future WrestleMania.
There is speculation that Las Vegas may be the new host city for WrestleMania 42, though WWE has yet to make an official announcement.
