WWE has submitted new trademark applications related to the NXT brand.
On October 19th, the company filed with The United States Patent and Trademark Office under the entertainment services classification for Kale Dixon, Dani Palmer, and Lola Vice.
The following is the description:
“Trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”
Palmer made her ring debut in September of last year before making her television debut on a Level Up episode, where she lost to Thea Hail. She was defeated by Vice in the first round of the Women’s Breakout Tournament on NXT two weeks ago.
Dixon joined WWE last year and will make his debut on November 12, 2022. His most recent match was in July, when he lost a tag team match to Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs on Level Up.
Vice, real name Valerie Loureda, is a former Bellator MMA fighter who signed with WWE last year and made her television debut in January. Tonight on NXT, she will face Karmen Petrovic in the Women’s Breakout Tournament semifinals.
