Indie star Zilla Fatu competed at HOG High Intensity on Friday, where he lost the HOG Crown Jewel Championship to Amazing Red. After the match, Fatu received a “thank you” chant from the crowd, and Red wished him “good luck.”
In early July, it was reported that Fatu was expected to begin working with WWE soon. He is a member of the Anoa’i family and has been wrestling for three years. In addition to the HOG Crown Jewel Championship, he is also a former holder of the 4th Rope Heavyweight Championship.
As of now, there is no official confirmation that Fatu has signed with WWE or is heading there; it is simply reported that he is expected to join the company.
