Jake Roberts Reflects On A Young Triple H Back In 1996: ‘It Was An Iffy Gimmick’

WWE Hall of Famer Jake โ€œThe Snakeโ€ Roberts took to an episode of his Snake Pit podcast, where he talked about a number of topics including a young Triple H back in 1996.

Roberts said, โ€œIt was an iffy gimmick. But I saw him grow in so many different ways. His psychology was getting there, and I enjoyed working with him and teaching him. He had that taste, man.โ€

Chris Candido: โ€œHe was a little too small, but he got over, man. If he was around now, heโ€™d be tearing it up.โ€
