TNA Wrestling star Eric Young recently took part in a virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest, where he talked about a number of topics including if he would be interested in working for AEW.
Young said, โNo, I donโt think so (I would work for AEW if they asked me to). No, Iโm not interested. We definitely had a bit of a discussion last time when I was a free agent there a couple months ago. Just not for me. Iโm glad that it exists. Iโve got tons of really good friends that are there and thereโs tons of die-hard fans that love it. The more wrestling, the better, the more jobs, the better and I wish them all the luck. Itโs just not for me.โ
Young also talked about how he wants to finish his pro wrestling career in TNA.
โI will wrestle and finish my career at TNA Wrestling and then Iโll disappear and then move into the woodsโฆ I donโt think Tony (Khan) thinks of me that way (to back up the Brinkโs truck), so heโs not gonna do that. Heโs always been polite to me. I donโt have anything bad to say about him but I donโt think Iโm his cup of tea. Iโm not an internet guy, Iโve never been an internet guy. Iโm just not one of those guys. I donโt post my matches, I donโt care about how many stars the internet gave me. So, Iโm not concerned with that world. Iโm worried about my employees and how many stars my employees give me and the people that pay me. Thatโs what Iโm worried about. Thatโs it.โ
