Debra Marshall Reveals Career Shift After WWE

Since leaving WWE, Debra Marshall has embarked on a successful career outside of professional wrestling.

Best known for her time in WCW (1995โ€“1998) as Queen Debra and WWE (1998โ€“2002) as simply Debra, she originally entered the industry in 1995, managing her then-husband, Steve “Mongo” McMichael. In WWE, she managed Jeff Jarrett, won the WWF Womenโ€™s Championship in 1999, and later became associated with Steve Austin, to whom she was married from 2000 to 2003. She departed WWE in 2002.

While appearing at Monopoly Eventsโ€™ For The Love of Wrestling, Debra provided an update on her life and career:

โ€œWell, after I left wrestling, I ended up going to University of Alabama, and I received a Bachelor [degree], and then I received a master of science in criminal justice. From the University of Alabama, and now I currently work for the District Attorneyโ€™s Office in New Orleans, Louisiana. So itโ€™s been an interesting journey from wrestling to what I do now.โ€

Debraโ€™s transition from the wrestling ring to the legal field highlights her diverse career path and dedication to public service.
