Kelly Kelly Recalls Brutal Kendo Stick Shot From The Sandman In WWE

Former WWE star Kelly Kelly appeared on Byron Scottโ€™s Fastbreak to discuss several topics, including what it was like taking a kendo stick strike to the head from The Sandman.

Kelly said, โ€œIt was so bad. We rehearsed it with Sandman. Heโ€™s like, โ€˜Oh Kelly, itโ€™s going to be so easy,โ€™ and he does this little poke (with the cane). โ€˜Oh, okay.โ€™ I saw him swing that thing back and I was like, โ€˜Oh my God.โ€™ Seeing it happenโ€ฆI remember hitting the ground, seeing stars. โ€˜What just happened?โ€™ We go to the back and they have me on a gurney. I open my eyes and Vince is standing over me. โ€˜Kelly, you okay?โ€™ All the guys, the ones who were brother or father figures, who were guiding me along, they were like, โ€˜When you get hit with that cane and come to the back, do not let them see you cry. Do not cry.โ€™ Thatโ€™s in the back of my head. Vince is like, โ€˜Are you okay?โ€™ โ€˜Iโ€™m fine. Yup.โ€™ Everyone is standing there. Itโ€™s a line of people waiting to see what Iโ€™m going to do. I get off the gurney and everyone is like, โ€˜Are you okay?โ€™ โ€˜Yeah, Iโ€™m great.โ€™ I get to the locker room and Iโ€™m bawling, calling my parents, โ€˜I donโ€™t know how to do this.โ€™ Next week, I was out there doing it again.โ€
