In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Paul Heyman broke his silence regarding the brutal attack he suffered at the hands of The Bloodlineโ€™s Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Madison Square Gardenโ€”a segment that sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe and further intensified the storyline surrounding Roman Reignsโ€™ crumbling faction.

Speaking candidly about the moment he was violently put through a table, Heyman explained, โ€œItโ€™s what had to be done. Itโ€™s what the story called for. Itโ€™s what was needed, and certainly, based on the reaction to this day, it was what people were expecting.โ€

Heyman also highlighted the deliberate extremity of the beatdown, which involved the rogue Bloodline members going to disturbing lengths. โ€œPeople didnโ€™t think weโ€™d go to that degree. SOLO needed to, and Jacob Fatu needed to, and Tama Tonga needed to, and Tonga Loa needed to. That rogue Bloodline had to go so over the top, so grotesque, so unheard of, and they had to do it in Madison Square Garden.โ€

The segment not only solidified the rise of the new Bloodline faction but marked a pivotal chapter in the ongoing collapse of Roman Reignsโ€™ once-dominant empire.
