During Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Rey Mysterio teamed with Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix to defeat American Made. However, the win was quickly overshadowed by concern, as Mysterio appeared injured and required assistance to exit the ringside area.
The incident has cast doubt on his scheduled WrestleMania 41 match tonight against El Grande Americano.
Providing an update via X, Bryan Alvarez stated:
“I am told still no word on Rey Mysterio, but Dragon Lee is the likely replacement if he can’t wrestle. They could do Fenix, but my presumption is El Grande needs to win the first match and they probably wouldn’t want to beat Fenix so early.”
