WWE WRESTLEMANIA 41 RESULTS – APRIL 20, 2025
“WWE Then. Now. Forever. Together.” kicks things off as always. We then hear Travis Scott’s “Fein” for about the 113th time this weekend alone. We shoot into an in-depth recap package of night one.
We then hear Michael Cole welcome us to the show as we see Superstar arrival shots, including Professor Cody Rhodes wearing his reading spectacles. IYO SKY, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley are also shown walking their bags into Allegiant Stadium.
At the panel, Cole introduces his fellow co-hosts Pat McAfee, Big E. and Wade Barrett. Immediately Cole suffers some kind of technical issue with his equipment, and McAfee jumps on him early with the jokes, before finishing Cole’s introductions of the panelists for him.
After they run down the lineup for tonight’s show and then begin kicking it to other members of the broadcast team, such as Jackie Redmond, Byron Saxton and others, who weigh-in with their respective thoughts on some of the matches, primarily the WWE Women’s World Championship triple-threat opener.
Some more banter from the panelists leads to a video package celebrating 20 years of Randy Orton in WWE. When the panelists talk about his mystery opponent for tonight, there are loud “Rusev Day!” chants. It is also mentioned that John Cena will be on The Pat McAfee Show tomorrow.
From there, we shoot to Byron Saxton’s one-on-one discussion with Bianca Belair. “The EST of WWE” combs over the drama of Jade Cargill and Naomi, and addresses her ongoing title opportunity tonight. We then cut to the in-depth sit-down interview that Peter Rosenberg conducted with WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
Some more video packages air to fill time and then a live backstage interview takes place with Cathy Kelley talking to WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. They spoke about Lyra Valkyria needing a partner. They seemed confident no one would team with Valkyria.
The panelists of Jackie Redmond, Big E. and Peter Rosenberg disagreed. Big E. all but confirmed the rumors of Lynch returning, acknowledging the “Becky! Becky!” chants in the background, bringing up rumors of a “certain someone who’s been out for a while” before outright saying, “a certain someone with an Irish background.”
Byron Saxton gives four different charities checks for $25,000 and custom WWE Championship belts, proclaiming them the new WWE Community Champions, in the latest annual WrestleMania tradition. Logan Paul is shown finally arriving fashionably late, coincidentally enough, after a video package about fashion at WrestleMania.
We see some more video packages and commercials, and when we return we’re in an already nearly packed Allegiant Stadium where Joe Tessitore and Sam Roberts are at a podium with comedian Tony Hinchcliffe. He talks about being a huge “Dark” John Cena fan, saying “Let’s Break-A-Wish tonight, yeah!” They plug The Roast of WrestleMania tonight.
A video package airs showing the story leading up to the WWE Women’s World Championship triple-threat opener scheduled for tonight. We then shoot to a one-on-one sit-down interview that Cathy Kelley conducted with Rhea Ripley.
Just 45 minutes remaining until it’s time for the main show. Hang tight, this 3-hour podcast with video packages is almost behind us. A special Michael Cole sit-down interview with Cody Rhodes airs. We then head back to Big E., Rosenberg and Redmond.
The guys try and play Clash of the Clans, or Fatal Fury or something and their controllers don’t work almost the entire time. Brutal. In the background, Wade Barrett, Pat McAfee and Michael Cole make their way out, are introduced, and settle in at ringside for their upcoming commentary duties in just a few minutes.
Stephanie McMahon Kicks Off WrestleMania 41 Sunday
The pre-show wraps up. God Bless America is performed live. Michael Cole welcomes us to the show as we see Superstars backstage. Rhea Ripley does push-ups and the crowd roars in the background. We shoot to a “last night” recap straight into the cold open for tonight.
After it wraps up, we shoot inside Allegiant Stadium again. We hear the familiar sounds of Stephanie McMahon’s theme song. She is standing in the middle of the ring like Triple H was last night. She talks about her past in WWE and the fans being part of her family, because WWE is family.
She then formally welcomes us to night two of WrestleMania 41. Fireworks and pyro explodes on the set. Travis Scott’s “Fiend” plays for about the 149th time this weekend alone. Cole, McAfee and Barrett check in for the first time at ringside at the new reinforced commentary desks.
WWE Women’s World Championship
IYO SKY (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair
Championship action will kick things off tonight. We return to an overhead shot of the massive, jam-packed home of the Las Vegas Raiders for night two of WWE’s shows on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.” We then hear the familiar sounds of IYO SKY’s theme, and out comes the reigning, defending WWE Women’s World Champion.
She settles in the ring with her big puffy ring walk jacket, and poses with her title. The fans like “The Genius of the Sky” in “Sin City.” Her music dies down and then the entrance tune for the first of her two challengers plays.
Out comes “The EST of WWE” Bianca Belair with kids who have her long ponytail just like her dancing around on stage as fans boo the living crap out of her, so loud that even Michael Cole quickly acknowledges it on the broadcast. Her step-daughter comes out looking like the real her, only for the real Belair to come out, kiss her and continue her bouncy walk down the long stage.
She settles in the ring after the longest entrance in history perhaps, Roman Reigns in his prime-level long, wearing a giant robe made out of roses. Girls were double-dutch jump-roping with her long ponytail on the stage for her ring walk as well. A giant Minute Maid mascot like the old PRIME mascot is shown.
Rhea Ripley’s theme hits and out she comes with a wild spikey helmet on to a super mega rock star level crowd reaction. This is her show according to the Vegas crowd. As loud as CM Punk’s pop for night one. Maybe he was right about her deserving to go on last over him (even if they’re on different nights).
Alicia Taylor, with essentially the exact same hair style as Xavier Woods last night, is shown on-camera for the big elaborate pre-match ring introductions for the champion and challengers. During this, it is again clear that the crowd is insanely pro-Ripley this evening. They’re pretty damn fond of SKY, too. The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running.
Belair and Ripley ignore SKY and argue with each other. Sky will not be ignored and steps in. Sky slaps Belair. Belair pushes Sky into Ripley, who strikes her. Belair hits Ripley and throws Sky into her, who hits Ripley with a hurricanrana. Sky hits the ropes, cartwheels around Belair, and dropkicks her down.
Ripley then dropkicks Sky out of the ring. Ripley and Belair lock eyes. Ripley hits a waistlock takeover, but Belair pops up, does a standing switch, and hits a takedown. Ripley elbows her away, but Belair catches her with a dropkick. Belair taunts the crowd as they boo her. Belair hits Ripley with a shoulder thrust in the corner and starts up the ten punches. Belair backflips over Sky as she charges, sending her into Ripley in the process.
Belair then hits Sky and Ripley with the ten punches. Sky pulls Belair down by the braid. Belair fights Sky off and boots Ripley. Sky catches Ripley and Belair with a double blockbuster and covers both women for a two-count. Sky hits them with a double dropkick. The crowd cheers loudly for Sky. Belair drops Sky on the apron and bounces her off the turnbuckles. Ripley then boots Belair out of the ring.
Ripley comes off the apron with a cannonball on Belair. Sky then wipes Ripley out with an Asai Moonsault! Sky gets Ripley in the ring and rolls her up before hitting a double stomp to the midsection. Sky picks up a two-count. Sky ducks a clothesline from Belair, so Belair redirects and hits Ripley with a clothesline over the top rope. Sky rolls Belair up for a two-count.
Belair quickly gets to her feet and runs over the Women’s World Champion with a shoulder tackle. Belair cartwheels around Sky and taunts her. Belair hits a vertical suplex and floats through into a second suplex. Belair floats through and hits a delayed vertical suplex before doing a kip-up. The crowd is very mixed for Belair. Belair goes for a handspring standing moonsault, but Ripley pulls her out of the ring and beats her down at ringside.
Sky comes off the apron with a flying hurricanrana attempt on Belair, but Belair powers her up. Belair slings Sky into the barricade before trying to sling her into Ripley, but Ripley blocks it. Ripley then slings Sky into the barricade before attacking Belair. Ripley gets Belair in the ring and goes for a suplex, but Belair gets out of it. Ripley avoids a diving attack from Sky and hits her with a Razor’s Edge into Belair! Ripley covers Sky: 1… 2… Sky kicks out.
Ripley goes for a German Suplex on Sky, but Sky counters into a roll-up attempt. Ripley blocks a double stomp and applies the Prism Trap! Belair grabs Ripley from behind and lifts her for a Kiss of Death. Ripley gets out and hits an arm drag. Belair avoids a big boot from Ripley, and they take each other out with a double facebuster. The crowd gives this match a great hand. We see Ripley killing it and then Belair takes over and hits her K.O.D. As she goes for the pin, SKY hits her top-rope finisher for the win to retain in an epic opener.
Winner and STILL WWE Women’s World Champion: IYO SKY
Sin City Street Fight
Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest
After the WWE SummerSlam 2025 two-night trailer airs with Cardi B. announcing herself as the host for this year’s shows at MetLife Stadium, we head to the bad-ass pre-match video package telling the year-long story leading up to tonight’s Sin City Street Fight.
When it wraps up, we hear the sword swipe as we settle back inside Allegiant Stadium. “The Scottish Psychopath” emerges in a bad ass Viking kind of outfit. He heads over to some other Viking-looking statue thing holding a shield and poses next to it as unimpressive pyro goes off behind him. Sort of. He begins his long walk to the ring.
Slayer performs live as Damian Priest makes his way out and begins his long walk to the ring to take on McIntyre in this Sin City Street Fight. Meanwhile, McAfee and Barrett are bantering about penis for the second night in a row on commentary. Upon settling in the ring, Priest stares at Slayer performing like a super fan in the front row for what felt like an eternity, without moving at all.
The bell sounds and McIntyre gets the early jump on Priest, rushing over and attacking him. The fight spills out to the floor where McIntyre continues to beat him down at ringside. He brings him over to the steel ramp and hits a vicious suplex. Priest hits a crescent kick and bounces him off the barricade again. McIntyre hits a throat thrust and delivers a vertical suplex onto the LED ramp.
McIntyre takes off the top half of the steel steps and puts the bottom half in the ring. McIntyre then turns into the steel steps, being thrown at his head by Priest. Priest drives McIntyre into the barricade and grabs a table from under the ring. Priest gets it in the ring. McIntyre attacks Priest and bounces him off the apron and the commentary table. McIntyre then drives him headfirst into the ring post. McIntyre grabs the steel steps and smashes them off Priest’s head twice.
McIntyre then smashes them off Priest’s spine. McIntyre drops the steps before picking them up and smashing them off his back again. McIntyre grabs a phone from his brother and takes a selfie, just like he did last year. McIntyre kicks Priest in the face and gets him in the ring. McIntyre grabs a steel chair and drives the edge into Priest’s skull. McIntyre gets two tables from under the ring and sets them up at ringside side-by-side.
Priest attacks McIntyre on the apron, trying to knock him into the tables, but McIntyre knocks him back with a Glasgow Kiss. McIntyre hits a clothesline over the top rope and takes Priest out with a somersault senton. McIntyre gets Priest in the ring and sets up for a Glasgow Kiss. Priest throws a chair at him to cut it off, but McIntyre avoids it. McIntyre then rocks Priest with a Claymore Kick for a two-count. McIntyre grabs the chair and smacks it off Priest’s back.
McIntyre hits him with it a second time before wrapping it around his head. McIntyre charges for a Claymore Kick, but Priest counters with a chokeslam for a two-count. Priest clasps his hand with McIntyre’s and goes to walk the ropes for Old School. McIntyre shoves him, hard, and Priest flies backwards and crashes through the side-by-side tables at ringside. Back in the ring moments later, McIntyre finishes Priest off for the win. As he walks off in victory, he yells into the camera, “See, I’m always right in the end!”
Winner: Drew McIntyre
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Bron Breakker (c) vs. Penta vs. Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio
More celebrities are shown in the crowd, such as the Detroit Lions running back, UFC legend Daniel Cormier, The Roast of WrestleMania host Tony Hinchcliffe and others. We then cut to the elaborate pre-match video package to tell the story leading up to our next match of the evening.
In our third bout, for the second time tonight already, a title will be on-the-line, as the WWE Intercontinental Championship is at stake next. When the package wraps up, we return inside Allegiant Stadium, where Penta’s theme hits. The crowd loves him. He makes his way to the ring first for the four-way title tilt.
When the entrance wraps up, the theme for Dominik Mysterio hits and out he comes. He struggles to take off a Rey Mysterio mask he is wearing. The crowd roars for that. The commentators have a field day mocking it as well. They do a Dude Wipes live ad-read as “Dirty” Dom-Dom settles in the ring. Didn’t they just stop the Dirty name? I guess it depends on if it fits for a dumb joke.
The third and final challenger Finn Balor comes out to a modified version of his old Demon theme. He is wearing a yellow hood of some kind. Cole taunts Barrett and asks for the story behind the mask/hood Balor wore. He’s also got bright ass yellow gloves on. Balor settles in the ring and his music dies down.
The spotlights hit the stage again and immediately the dogs start barking in Vegas. The reigning and defending WWE Intercontinental Champion makes his way out. Thankfully, a ridiculous cowboy hat is not part of his ring entrance gear. In fact, he’s literally just wearing a blue and white singlet, with his I-C title strapped around his waist. He settles in the ring fresh off of his Steiner Math 2025 promo at the kickoff event earlier this week.
The bell sounds and Breakker immediately goes to work on Penta in the corner with a rage. Dom and Balor just watch, until they decide to jump in. They do and double-team Breakker, throwing the champ out to the floor and posing together. Moments later, they get beaten down and thrown out. Penta hits a huge dive for a big pop. Breakker then launches himself into Penta in Brutus Ball-style.
Breakker gets Penta in the ring, but Penta responds with a superkick. Penta does the Cero Miedo taunt before going for a springboard cross-body, but Breakker slams him out of mid-air. Breakker then hits Balor with a military press powerslam. Breakker ducks a clothesline from Mysterio and connects with a Spear! 1… 2… Balor breaks up the pin. Breakker angrily stares at Balor, who starts to beg him off.
Breakker powers Balor to the corner and shoulders away at him. Breakker then attacks Penta and shoulders away at him. Breakker turns, and Balor hits him with a Sling Blade. Penta hits Balor with a reverse sling blade and knocks Mysterio down in the corner. Balor charges, but Penta hits him with a drop toe hold into Mysterio’s groin! Penta hits Balor and Mysterio with a handspring slingshot corner dropkick. Penta covers Balor for a two-count.
Penta kicks Balor and sets up for the Sacrifice. Penta snaps Balor’s arm and sets up for a Penta Driver, but Breakker hits them with a double German Suplex! Breakker kips up, and the crowd starts barking. Breakker sizes Penta up and charges, but he hits the ring post when Penta moves. Mysterio takes Penta down and hits a slingshot senton splash. Mysterio stomps away at Breakker and hits a baseball slide to knock him out of the ring.
The crowd is cheering for Mysterio. Mysterio starts the Three Amigos on Penta. One amigo… two amigos… Balor joins in, and we’ve got a third amigo. Carlito comes to ringside. Balor and Mysterio kick Breakker and set up for a double-team suplex, but Breakker counters into a double (almost delayed) vertical suplex! Breakker hits Balor with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex before delivering one to Mysterio.
Breakker puts Balor on the top rope and turns Mysterio inside out with a clothesline. Breakker then wipes Balor out with a Frankensteiner. We then work our way to the finish. After Breakker hits a spear from one commentary desk to the other, we return in the ring. Breakker has Penta beat. Dom goes for the frog splash, but Balor stops him. Balor hits Coup de Grace and goes for the cover.
Dom hits a frog splash to break it up. Dom quickly follows up with the cover for the win. The crowd goes insane. Dom soaks up the love, running up the stage and back down, sliding in the ring and posing on the ropes for another loud roar from the crowd. Dom is your new WWE Intercontinental Champion, and he improves to 1-3 at WrestleMania.
Winner and NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion: Dominik Mysterio
Randy Orton vs. Joe Hendry
A 20 years of Randy Orton in WWE video package plays after we see some more celebrities in the crowd, including Colby Covington, who gets very loud boos, and Metro Boomin, who gets very loud cheers. Back inside Allegiant Stadium, “Voices” plays and the tens of thousands of fans loudly sing along with it as “The Viper” heads to the ring.
“The Viper” got on the microphone upon getting in the ring, and said tonight marks his 20th WrestleMania. He vows whoever comes out is going to have their WrestleMania moment by getting beaten courtesy of the three most dangerous letters in WWE — R-K-O.
With that said, the familiar sounds of the viral smash hit, “I Believe In Joe Hendry” hit the house speakers inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV. And the “Sin City” crowd went nuts. Someone must’ve said his name, because TNA World Champion Joe Hendry just appeared.
The bell sounded to start things off, and maybe all of three to five minutes later, it rang again. A quick RKO victory for the WWE legend Randy Orton. After the match, Orton helped Hendry up and gave him some props and raised his hand to each side of the crowd, before ultimately planting him with another RKO and leaving him laying. Ouch.
Winner: Randy Orton
AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul
Some trailers air to promote WWE Money In The Bank for June 7 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA., the same day and location, down the road, from the WWE NXT x AAA Worlds Collide show at the Kia Forum. After that, we see the elaborate pre-match video package to set the stage for the next match of the evening, AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul.
Back live inside Allegiant Stadium, we see Logan Paul in the entrance area holding a selfie-stick.
That’s the camera shot we see as his theme hits and he begins making his walk, panning the camera to show some of the crowd and making various comments. He connects the camera to a drone, which soars above him. He begins his walk as the camera shot turns into different boxed camera shots, ala Brady Bunch opening.
Near the ringside area, he reaches up and catches the drone and pulls the camera shot, which we are looking from, back down to his selfie-stick view as he enters the ring. Pretty crazy entrance actually. His music dies down and after a little delay, AJ Styles’ church sounding cords hits and the crowd erupts. “The Phenomenal One” heads out.
The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with our next match of the evening. The two lock up and Styles backs Paul into a corner. Paul spins him around and gives a break before talking a little trash and shoving him. Styles takes exception to that. They circle the ring, and Styles applies a side headlock. Paul punches out and locks on a side headlock. Styles whips him off, does a leapfrog, and drops down.
Paul holds onto the ropes and laughs at Styles. Paul drops Styles on the apron, but Styles shoulders him and slides through the legs. Styles goes into the ropes and hits a shoulder tackle before shouting, “Stay down, bitch!” Styles hits the ropes. Paul drops down and leapfrogs him, but Styles puts the brakes on and dropkicks him. Styles covers, but Paul kicks out at one, powering him out of the ring in the process.
Styles pulls Paul toward the apron, but Paul kicks him away. Paul goes for a plancha, but Styles pulls the apron back and covers his head with it before punching away at him. Styles poses before getting on the apron and connects with a sliding knee to the skull. Styles grabs Paul, but the Maverick powers him into the barricade. Styles quickly reverses a whip into the barricade. An “AJ Styles” chant picks up. Styles gets him in the ring and goes for a shoulder thrust, but Paul avoids it.
Paul sends him into the ring post before grabbing the arm and driving him into the opposite ring post. Styles falls to the floor. Paul sizes Styles up and connects with a plancha. Paul celebrates at ringside. Styles crawls toward the commentary table to pull himself up. Paul slams his face off the table and then the apron. Paul rolls into the ring to break up the count. Paul grabs the WWE Drone that he placed on the Prime Energy Hydration Station and lets it fly. The WWE Drone captures Paul placing the apron over Styles’s face and attacking.
Paul snaps him off the top rope and heads to the top rope for the Paul from Grace (Lo Down Frog Splash) for a near fall. Paul sends Styles to the corner and whips him sternum-first into the opposite corner. Paul hits an Over Bomb (alley-oop), but Styles barely manages to grab the bottom rope. Paul does the Hulk Hogan cupping the ear gesture and hits Styles with a big boot. Paul hits a split-legged leg drop for a one-count. Paul starts hitting some jabs before Styles powers him to the corner and punches away at him. Paul boots him back and hits a moonsault block for a two-count. It looks like Styles was supposed to catch him, but they thought on their feet and redirected to save it.
Paul starts punching away at Styles and delivering uppercuts to ground him. Paul continues to do Hogan taunts to loud boos. Paul gets on the second turnbuckle and taunts the crowd. Paul tries to whip him hard into the corner, but Styles puts the brakes on. Paul kips up, thinking Styles hit the corner hard. Styles floors him with a pair of stiff clotheslines. Styles lights him up with a strike combination before connecting with an ushigoroshi.
Styles hits the ropes and connects with a sliding forearm to the forehead. Styles hits a leaping corner clothesline before hitting a brainbuster for a two-count. In the end, Paul’s mysterious friend Jeff tries passing the brass knuckles to him, only for Karrion Kross to appear at ringside to stop him. Kross tries to get Styles to use the knucks. Styles instead knocks out Kross. The distraction, however, allows Paul to hit his brutal Paul-verizer finisher on Styles for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Logan Paul
