Corey Graves Reportedly Back In Favor With WWE Management

Corey Graves is reportedly back in good standing with WWE following a brief and controversial stint on the NXT commentary team earlier this year.

According to a new report from PWInsider, any backstage friction or fallout from Graves’ temporary move from Monday Night Raw to NXT has been “all but forgotten.” The former wrestler-turned-announcer had publicly expressed frustration at the time, posting now-deleted comments on social media that hinted at dissatisfaction with the change.

In the weeks following the move, Michael Cole addressed the situation, stating WWE was “working things out” with Graves behind the scenes.

It now appears those efforts have paid off. Graves was said to be “well-received” during his return to Raw commentary on the June 16th episode. Additionally, his standout performance as the lead announcer for the recent WWE x AAA Worlds Collide premium live event is believed to have boosted his internal standing within the company.

With things reportedly smoothed over, Graves looks to be firmly back in WWE’s commentary rotation as the company builds toward SummerSlam and the revamped Evolution PLE.
