WWE fans eager to hear CM Punkโ€™s response to John Cenaโ€™s fiery promo will have to wait a little longer.

According to a new report from PWInsiderElite.com, CM Punk is not written into the script for tonightโ€™s episode of Monday Night Raw. Creative sources within WWE confirmed that Punk is currently not scheduled to appear on the show, despite heightened fan anticipation following Cenaโ€™s heavily discussed promo last week.

Cenaโ€™s segment โ€” which many compared to Punkโ€™s iconic 2011 โ€œpipebombโ€ โ€” included pointed references to their storied rivalry and career parallels. The promo sparked immediate buzz across the wrestling world, with fans expecting a follow-up confrontation between the two veterans.

However, it now appears that Punkโ€™s on-screen response will be delayed until this weekโ€™s episode of SmackDown, which airs live this Friday from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

While WWE has yet to officially confirm the segment for SmackDown, moving the continuation of this high-profile storyline to an international setting adds extra intrigue and global attention ahead of the company’s premium live event weekend.
