WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg is officially set to appear on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, as the road to his highly anticipated retirement match against World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER heats up.
According to PWInsiderElite.com, Goldberg’s presence on Raw is part of a strategically mapped-out schedule leading to his final bout, which will take place at the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event premium live event on July 12.
While Goldberg is expected to appear on nearly every episode of Raw between now and the PLE, the report does note one exception — he is not scheduled for next week’s show in Pittsburgh.
This retirement storyline kicked off in dramatic fashion last week, when Goldberg made a surprise return to confront GUNTHER face-to-face. In a thunderous moment, the WWE legend made it crystal clear: he’s coming for one last title shot before calling it a career.
Tonight, Goldberg is expected to address GUNTHER directly, continuing the momentum behind what’s shaping up to be a colossal generational showdown.
The clash between the unstoppable Ring General and one of WWE’s most dominant legends promises to be one of the summer’s defining rivalries.
