Match Pulled From WWE Night Of Champions, Two New Matches Added

Several major updates emerged from the June 23, 2025 edition of WWE Raw, reshaping the card for this weekend’s Night of Champions premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During a live in-ring announcement, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce confirmed that Dominik Mysterio has suffered an injury and will be unable to compete at Night of Champions. As a result, his scheduled Intercontinental Championship match against AJ Styles has been officially postponed to a later date.

No further details were given regarding the nature or severity of Dominik’s injury, but Pearce noted that a new date for the match will be announced once he is cleared to compete.

Later in the night, tensions boiled over in a backstage segment involving Karrion Kross and Sami Zayn. After a heated exchange, Zayn delivered a stiff right hand to Kross, sparking a brawl. Shortly after, WWE officials confirmed that Zayn will face Kross in a singles match at Night of Champions.

This marks the latest chapter in a growing rivalry between the two, which has escalated in recent weeks.

A major women’s division showdown was also locked in for the event. After weeks of animosity, Raquel Rodriguez took the fight to Rhea Ripley on Raw, culminating in a wild segment that saw Raquel put the Women’s World Champion through a table.

The incident led to the official announcement of a Street Fight between the two powerhouses at Night of Champions, adding a hardcore edge to an already personal rivalry.
