Rob Van Dam has addressed the possibility of a final run with WWE, making it clear he remains open-minded about the future while also expressing hesitation about the idea of a formal retirement.

Speaking on TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast, RVD said he is willing to at least consider any opportunity that comes his way.

“I am open to consider anything. That’s part of being open-minded—you know, I try not to shut anything out without at least considering it.”

He added that communication with WWE is always a possibility, especially with upcoming appearances already in place.

“And when it comes to something like that, they’ve got my number. They can talk to me. As you know, I’ll be appearing at WWE World. We talked about that—4/20, remember?”

Van Dam made it clear that discussions could happen, but he is not fully sold on the concept of a traditional farewell run.

“We can definitely have that conversation. As far as a retirement tour, though—unless I change my perspective, which always happens, because you’re always looking at things from a different place in life if you keep going—the way I feel now is I don’t like the idea of labeling something as a retirement.”

He closed by explaining why he prefers to avoid framing anything as a “last match.”

“I don’t really want to know if I’m having my last match when I am.”
