Tessa Blanchard believes there are few wrestlers who can compete with her at the highest level, but she also recognizes that calling herself the best isn’t enough to make it true.
During an appearance on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Blanchard discussed the confidence she has in her abilities and her belief that she belongs at the top of the professional wrestling industry.
Blanchard described herself as the best wrestler in the world while stressing that her performances ultimately have to support that claim.
She also explained that one of her primary goals is to continually improve on her own previous work, approaching each day with the intention of becoming a better performer than she was before.
For Blanchard, that distinction separates confidence from accomplishment. While she has no hesitation in expressing how highly she rates herself, she acknowledged that “saying that doesn’t make it true.”
The interview was conducted before recent questions emerged regarding Blanchard’s status with MLW. The promotion subsequently removed references to her from its website, but her comments during the TMZ interview do not establish her current contractual status with the company.
