WWE star Roxanne Perez, a member of The Judgment Day, recently spoke with Allenownz Wrestling about various topics.
She reflected on her experience in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, where she set a record by lasting 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 45 seconds at the 2025 Royal Rumble. Perez ultimately finished as the runner-up to Charlotte Flair.
Perez said, “So, people have asked me that a lot about like, if when I’m in the ring in the Rumble, if it feels like it’s so long or I’m like counting the minutes. But honestly, as soon as the Rumble ends I’m like, ‘That literally felt like 10 minutes.’ It goes by so fast. There’s so many things happening, so many women coming out, so many — you’re constantly just trying to throw someone over. So, you’re constantly just going, going, going, going. So, by the time it ends, you’re just like, ‘Whoo! That was fun.’”
On doing a U.S. Royal Rumble vs. the one in Saudi Arabia:
“I mean, it was different in the sense that we are completely covered in latex. So in that match it — like we said, it’s an hour. So, you are getting pretty hot. You are like, using a lot of of your wind. So, when you’re sweating out there and you’re in full latex, long sleeves, long pants, turtleneck — that is what is very different. But I mean, I think the atmosphere in San Antonio, Texas was insane. Because I am from Laredo, Texas. So I do remember that atmosphere just being so freaking cool. My family was there, my entire family was there. It was my first Rumble, so that was exciting, too. It was very full circle.”
