WWE NXT Beats AEW Grand Slam: France In Viewership

This week, WWE NXT and AEW Grand Slam: France faced off in a direct competition. AEW’s episode aired on Tuesday instead of Wednesday due to the MLB playoffs, once again going head-to-head with NXT.

According to Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics, NXT surpassed AEW Grand Slam: France in overall viewership. However, Grand Slam: France performed slightly better in the key demographic. Thurston reported that this week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 532,000 viewers, a decrease from the 670,000 viewers of the September 29 episode.

In contrast, AEW Grand Slam: France averaged 495,000 viewers, significantly lower than the previous week’s Dynamite episode, which was a tribute show for the late Benjamin “PAC” Satterley and drew an average of 899,000 viewers with a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

For the P18-49 demographic, NXT earned a 0.10 rating, while AEW achieved a slightly higher rating of 0.11. NXT’s rating decreased slightly from the previous week’s show, which had a rating of 0.11. Additionally, NXT posted a 0.14 rating in the P25-54 demographic, while AEW posted a 0.15 rating in the same category.

The last head-to-head competition between AEW and NXT took place on October 7, 2025. In that matchup, NXT drew 625,000 viewers and a 0.12 rating, while AEW drew 321,000 viewers and a 0.07 rating in the key demographic.
