WWE has announced the updated lineup for next week’s NXT episode, which will take place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show is set to air on Wednesday night instead of the usual Tuesday night due to coverage of the U.S. midterm elections, as previously reported by PWMania.com.
In a featured match, WWE Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable, AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fénix, and Dragon Lee will face The Vanity Project, which includes WWE NXT North American Champion Jackson Drake and WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, in a 6-Man Tag Team Match. Additionally, WWE NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan will defend her title against a yet-to-be-named main roster star, and WWE NXT Champion Grayson Waller will defend his championship against “The Best In The World,” CM Punk.
Also announced for the show is an Unsanctioned Match between DarkState’s Dion Lennox and Cruz Montana, with UFC star Michael Chandler serving as the special enforcer. In another highlight, “Supernova 11” Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno will compete against Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) in the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament. “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes is set to present the trophy to the winners of this tournament, while 17-time World Champion John Cena is scheduled to make an appearance.
