WWE Superstar Stephanie Vaquer has officially returned to in-ring competition after being sidelined with an ankle injury that previously forced her to withdraw from a scheduled match against Becky Lynch on Monday Night Raw.
Vaquer had originally been expected to face Lynch in a match to determine the next challenger for Liv Morgan’s WWE Women’s World Championship. However, WWE subsequently announced that Vaquer’s ankle had not fully healed, resulting in the match being canceled and delaying her anticipated return to action.
After taking additional time to recover, Vaquer made her in-ring comeback at WWE’s live event in Portland, Oregon, on Thursday, November 5. The appearance marked her return to competition following the injury setback, although further details regarding her match at the event were not immediately available.
Meanwhile, Lynch continued her pursuit of the WWE Women’s World Championship and eventually challenged Morgan for the title. Although Lynch emerged victorious via disqualification, Morgan retained the championship, as titles do not change hands through disqualification under standard WWE rules.
Vaquer’s return is a positive development for WWE’s women’s division, particularly given her previous involvement in the Women’s World Championship contender picture. Her injury had interrupted plans for a high-profile match against Lynch, leaving questions about when she would be cleared to compete again.
With Vaquer now back in action, attention turns to whether WWE will revisit her previously scheduled encounter with Lynch or move her into another storyline on Monday Night Raw.
As of this writing, WWE has not announced Vaquer’s next televised match or confirmed whether she will immediately return to the Women’s World Championship picture.
