AAA held the premiere episode of their Lucha Libre event on FOX Latin America this past weekend.
During the show, the promotion aired a video package featuring WWE Intercontinental Champion and AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio.
In his promo, Mysterio, a member of The Judgment Day, claimed he was the reason AAA secured a deal with FOX Latin America while also taking shots at Canelo Alvarez and Bad Bunny. However, at one point in the video, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio was shown wearing the AEW World Championship belt.
Fans quickly pointed out this oversight on social media, and the video package is still available on the promotion’s Twitter (X) profile.
Mysterio is currently recovering from a shoulder injury he sustained during a tag team match at last month’s Guerra de Titanes event. His next challenger for the AAA Mega Championship was confirmed this past Saturday when El Hijo del Vikingo defeated El Grande Americano, with assistance from Dorian Roldan and Omos.
The date and venue for the championship match have not yet been announced by the company.
