There won’t be much more waiting for GUNTHER’s return.
GUNTHER has not appeared on WWE television since WrestleMania XL, when he lost the Intercontinental Championship to Sami Zayn in a classic match. It brought an end to his long and dominant reign as champion.
On paper, this Monday’s episode of RAW became newsworthy. The company has confirmed that a new Women’s World Champion will be crowned following Rhea Ripley’s injury. World Tag Team Champions The Miz and R-Truth will defend against DIY’s Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, and The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh will face Andrade and Ricochet.
According to WrestleVotes, GUNTHER will also return to the show. It’s unclear what he’ll be doing on the show or what WWE’s future plans are for him.
Following his IC title loss to Sami Zayn at WM, Gunther is scheduled to return to TV this Monday on RAW.
