Following his time in AEW, Andrade has returned to WWE and fans are curious as to what the company has in store for him.
Andrade had a lot of success with WWE, including a reign as the NXT Champion, before leaving the company in March 2021. He requested his release from WWE and it was granted before he joined AEW.
Andrade was expected to return to the WWE, as he had been hinting that he wasn’t happy with AEW. Andrade’s final AEW appearance came last month at the AEW World End pay-per-view, where he was defeated by Miro.
He returned to WWE last month when he entered the Men’s Royal Rumble match as the #4 entrant at the Royal Rumble in Tampa, Florida. He has since made a few cameos in television backstage segments as he considers his options.
According to PWInsider, Andrade will serve as a babyface for the WWE RAW brand going forward.
It’s unknown who he will be facing off against or when he will return to in-ring action.
