According to Fightful Select, WWE is reportedly interested in bringing back WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus for a special appearance—and potentially a match—at next month’s Evolution 2 premium live event (PLE).
Interest in Stratus has likely grown following Liv Morgan’s recent shoulder injury, which has prompted several adjustments to the event’s planned lineup. While a final decision has not been made, creative plans are said to be in motion should Stratus agree to take part.
As of this past weekend, nothing has been confirmed, but multiple creative options are being discussed. The company is expected to make progress on those plans over the next week.
Stratus last competed in a high-profile storyline feud with Becky Lynch in 2023 and previously returned for the inaugural WWE Evolution event in 2018, teaming with Lita to defeat Mickie James and Alicia Fox.
