WWE SmackDown star Blake Monroe engaged in a back-and-forth exchange with the absent WWE veteran Bayley after Bayley attacked Giulia instead of making her in-ring debut on the show this past Friday. Monroe tweeted that she was world championship material and urged Bayley not to waste her time. Bayley responded with a simple, “ok.”
Monroe then replied, “no one likes a tease, see u on Friday or don’t tweet me again”
Monroe stated that, following Friday’s events, she plans to have her first match against WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green, who is currently injured. In the meantime, there has been considerable discussion about Bayley’s status within WWE. She has not appeared on television since her loss to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event in mid-July. Speculation is growing that she may be leaving the company, as reports suggest that she has not yet agreed to a new contract with WWE.
