Former AEW star Mariah May—now going by the name Blake Monroe—has officially made her in-ring debut for WWE.
The glamorous competitor stepped between the ropes for the first time as part of the NXT brand during a live event in Fort Pierce, Florida, on June 27. Monroe defeated fellow NXT talent Laney Reid in singles action, marking her return to in-ring competition after a three-month absence.
Monroe’s last match took place at AEW Revolution 2025, where she unsuccessfully challenged Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship in the dramatic conclusion of a long-running storyline. Her departure from AEW soon followed, and WWE wasted little time incorporating her into the NXT product under her new persona.
Since joining NXT, Monroe has already appeared in multiple on-screen segments and made it clear that she has her eyes on championship gold. This debut win in Fort Pierce signals the beginning of what could be a major rise for Monroe in WWE’s women’s division. Click here for complete WWE NXT live event results.
