Charlotte Flair To Miss Nine Months Due To Injury

As previously reported on PWMania.com, Charlotte Flair suffered a significant knee injury on the December 8th episode of Smackdown from Providence, Rhode Island.

The injury occurred when she fell from the top rope while working in her match with Asuka and appeared to hurt her knee badly. The spot happened during a commercial break. However, a video surfaced on social media showing the incident.

In a concerning moment, Flair can be seen communicating her pain and concerns by uttering, “My knee,” to referee Charles Robinson. Flair courageously continued the match; however, throughout the remainder, Flair visibly struggled to put weight on her injured knee. The ending came with a roll-up by Asuka after interference from Bayley.

WWE has confirmed that Flair will be on the sidelines for the next nine months due to that knee injury sustained on Smackdown.

We at PWMania extend our best wishes to Charlotte Flair for a speedy and complete recovery.
