Top WWE star CM Punk appeared on Oโ€™Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jeffersonโ€™s No-Contest Wrestling to talk about a number of topics, including if there was a chance he could have left Survivor Series last year without a deal being signed.

Punk said, โ€œPersonally, there could have been, if there were some hard noโ€™s in the contracts, but I think both sides were eager. Then you get the lawyers involved, and itโ€™s a lot.โ€

On getting the deal signed during the show:

โ€œI get a text, โ€˜Weโ€™re going to clear the hallway and come get you and put you in Triple Hโ€™s office.โ€™ I run through the building, they put me in the freight elevator. I hear them on the other side yelling, โ€˜clear the hallway.โ€™ โ€˜Oh no. Iโ€™m not that guy now.โ€™ They clear the hallway, the freight elevator door opens up and six steps this way is the door Iโ€™m walking into. I walk in, sit down, and Iโ€™m in there. They are starting the WarGames match and I donโ€™t have a deal yet. Iโ€™m sitting in there, the lawyers are going back and forth, hammering stuff out, and Triple H walks in and is like, โ€˜If this gets done, weโ€™ll wait, and when the time is right, weโ€™ll bring you in through Gorilla.โ€™ Contracts get executed, and itโ€™s time. Deep breath, open the door, walk through Gorilla. There are so many people in Gorilla.โ€
