Corey Graves Reportedly Back In Favor With WWE Management

Corey Graves is reportedly back in good standing with WWE following a brief and controversial stint on the NXT commentary team earlier this year.

According to a new report from PWInsider, any backstage friction or fallout from Gravesโ€™ temporary move from Monday Night Raw to NXT has been โ€œall but forgotten.โ€ The former wrestler-turned-announcer had publicly expressed frustration at the time, posting now-deleted comments on social media that hinted at dissatisfaction with the change.

In the weeks following the move, Michael Cole addressed the situation, stating WWE was โ€œworking things outโ€ with Graves behind the scenes.

It now appears those efforts have paid off. Graves was said to be โ€œwell-receivedโ€ during his return to Raw commentary on the June 16th episode. Additionally, his standout performance as the lead announcer for the recent WWE x AAA Worlds Collide premium live event is believed to have boosted his internal standing within the company.

With things reportedly smoothed over, Graves looks to be firmly back in WWEโ€™s commentary rotation as the company builds toward SummerSlam and the revamped Evolution PLE.
