DIY Set To Debut New Theme Song During Monday’s WWE RAW Reunion Match

DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) are set to reunite on Monday’s episode of WWE RAW for their first tag team match in years.

The team was formed in NXT in August 2015, where they won the NXT Tag Team Titles before breaking up on May 20, 2017 at NXT TakeOver: Chicago, when Ciampa turned heel and attacked Gargano.

They fought for the NXT Championship for the next year. They had brief reunions between 2019 and 2021. Gargano and Ciampa last competed together in a WarGames match in 2021.

The fan favorites will face off against Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci). Gargano confirmed DIY will have a new theme song while speaking on Twitch.

“Y’all remember? Yeah. Of course. Everyone’s going to want to know about the music. To be fair, if you all remember when DIY debuted, that song they gave us was just a stock song. It wasn’t like it was hand-picked for us or anything like that. We were not under contract yet. It just kind of caught on. But me and Tommaso are very excited about the potential of something new. Like, I think it could be so much more. I’m trying not to spoil too much stuff. You just have to tune in on Monday. As much as I can tell you, you have to tune in on Monday. It’s going to be very cool. I think it’s got a very cool vibe. I think it’s something we both are really pumped about. So we hope you guys dig it, too. That’s basically what it comes down to. We hope you guys dig it. We dig it. It’s something fresh, something new. And I think it’s going to be hopefully something that catches on. And years from now, you guys will talk about that song.

“Ronnie is asking if it has lyrics. You got to watch it on Monday. You’ve got to tune in to Monday Night Raw. I don’t want to know if I can hum the song for you. Well, I will say it does have hints. Hints. And it is, the older song is in there, so I could hum the old song because it’s in there somewhere. Hints of it. I especially like DIY and our story. We really like to keep a common thread. We like to pay tribute to the past while also looking towards the future. I think that’s very important, especially for long-term viewers.”
