Former WWE Star Returns To The Ring For The First Time In Years

Many wrestlers will never even get the opportunity to work for a major promotion such as WWE, AEW, or NJPW, and not all of them will end up as main eventers. Most are fortunate to be able to wrestle full-time and support themselves solely through their love of the sport.

Spike Dudley made it big and was involved in some of the biggest promotions in the industry’s history. Dudley began his career in 1993 before joining ECW as a member of The Dudley Boyz.

Spike remained with ECW until the end of the promotion after being separated from the legendary tag team and leaving for WWE in 1993. He later returned to WWE, where he was reunited with D-Von and Bubba Ray Dudley.

He achieved success as a singles star while with WWE until 2005, holding the European, Hardcore, and Cruiserweight Titles. He competed in TNA from 2006 to 2007 and again from 2009 to 2014. His most recent match was in 2015.

The former WWE/ECW star made his return to the ring over the weekend, wrestling against Leon St Giovanni at a LIVE Pro Wrestling event in New Bedford, MA.
