Former AEW star Fuego Del Sol came up short in a mask vs. career match against Atticus Cogar at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9. After the match, Fuego removed his mask and exited the ring. He then attacked Sam Stackhouse at GCW’s Crazy Scary Spooky Hilarious event and joined forces with Cogar.
Recently, Fuego shared a new video on his Twitter (X) where he revealed his new in-ring name: KJ Orso. The former AEW star declared that Fuego “is dead” and stated he has never felt more alive.
In the video, Orso explained that Fuego didn’t truly die when he lost his mask, but rather when he became a free agent. He mentioned that he kept Fuego on life support for nearly two years, hoping someone would sign him, but that didn’t happen. He stated that he had been masquerading as something he isn’t. Orso then emphatically declared that Fuego is dead, adding that he has been trying to suppress the anger simmering within him, but it has now surfaced, and it’s frightening how much he enjoys it.
