WWE WrestleMania 40 is expected to be historic for a variety of reasons, including a significant achievement for The Rock.

The first night of WWE WrestleMania 40 will feature The Rock and Undisputed WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. On Night Two, Reigns will face Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, while Rollins will face Drew McIntyre for the World Championship.

The Rock defeated John Cena at WrestleMania 28 in Miami, Florida, and the following year, at WrestleMania 29, Cena defeated The Rock to win the WWE Championship in New Jersey. Rock sustained several injuries during his last match.

The Rock will join The Undertaker as the only stars to have headlined WrestleMania for four decades. Both stars accomplished this in the 1990s, 2000s, 2010, and 2020s.

They outperform Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, and Edge, who are all over 30 years old. From 1999 to 2001, Rock headlined three consecutive WrestleMania events, losing all three with the WWE championship on the line.
