Karrion Kross Reacts To Bizarre Rumors Ahead Of WWE Night Of Champions

Karrion Kross is brushing off recent online rumors with a laugh.

In an interview with The National ahead of WWE Night of Champions, the former NXT Champion addressed recent speculation suggesting he refuses to take “flat back bumps”—a claim that some theorized explained his lack of a major push. Kross was quick to call the rumor out for what it was.

“I thought out of all the crazy articles that are fabricated about me every week, that was the weakest,” Kross said with a laugh. “There was another wild one I saw last week that was even funnier.”

Kross shared another bizarre rumor circulating online: “It said something like, ‘Karrion Kross is going to come to Monday Night Raw and he’s going to quit and do a shoot promo live, and then walk out.’ I thought that was a good one. But I don’t really respond to any of them. There’s a crazy one about me every week or two. You just kind of have to laugh.”

The comments come as Kross continues to enjoy a recent surge in fan support following a viral post-WrestleMania promo. Backstage sources have also confirmed that the “no bumps” rumor is false, with multiple WWE producers stating there’s never been an issue with Kross’s in-ring work.

Kross is set to face Sami Zayn this Saturday at Night of Champions, marking his first premium live event match since WrestleMania 40.
