Kevin Nash Responds To Fan Concern About “Too Many Samoans” In WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has weighed in on recent fan criticism regarding the number of Samoan wrestlers featured in WWE storylines. Speaking on the latest episode of his Kliq This podcast, Nash dismissed the concern as baseless and pointed to the strong storytelling and variety among the talent.

A fan wrote in asking whether there were “too many Samoans coming into WWE” and questioned the authenticity of some characters. Nash was quick to shut down the notion, replying bluntly:

“There’s more white boys than Samoans.”

Nash emphasized that the issue isn’t about quantity, but about presentation and creative execution.

“They’re fighting against each other, right?” he said, referencing the ongoing Bloodline split and the multiple Anoa’i family storylines across Raw and SmackDown.

The current WWE landscape features Solo Sikoa leading one faction, Jacob Fatu heading the MFTs, and Roman Reigns back on Raw aligning with Jey Uso to feud with Seth Rollins’ stable. According to Nash, this internal conflict within the Samoan legacy prevents repetition and keeps the programming compelling.

The Anoa’i family legacy has never been more present in WWE, and Nash sees that as a positive evolution of wrestling’s storytelling depth, not a problem.
