WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has never been one to shy away from bold matchups—inside or outside the ring. During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, the former Divas Champion revealed her dream celebrity opponents and teased the possibility of a Brie Bella return to WWE.
Speaking candidly about her fantasy opponents, Nikki singled out two global superstars from very different worlds: tennis legend Serena Williams and pop icon Taylor Swift.
“Oh gosh, so there’s a few. The first person that comes to mind is Serena Williams. I think that would be so cool, especially now, like her in her mom era, but what we saw at Super Bowl, she has that sass, and she has that stage presence,” Nikki said.
“Taylor Swift would be really fun. I’d have to, I think, be in my bad girl era. But like, we could talk about the eras. She would have the Swifties behind her, I would have the Bella Army.”
While the prospect of Bella vs. Swift might be more fantasy booking than a WrestleMania headline—never say never in WWE, especially with the rise of celebrity crossovers in recent years.
Nikki also dropped a teaser regarding the status of her sister and fellow Hall of Famer Brie Bella. While Nikki has returned to WWE TV, most recently appearing on the June 9 edition of Raw, Brie has remained absent from the ring.
“That’s definitely what I’m hoping to see. I’m not gonna lie. I mean, I like having my own time, but also, I can’t do it without my tag partner,” Nikki shared. “So, you never know. As we love to say in WWE, you never know what’s gonna happen. It keeps us on our toes, but you just gotta’ stay tuned.”
The Bella Twins remain one of the most influential women’s duos in WWE history, and if Nikki has her way, fans might not have seen the last of them as a team.
