As WWE presents Night of Champions live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, major spoilers have surfaced regarding the Queen of the Ring final and a possible debut during the United States Championship match.
According to Fightful Select, the current internal expectation is that Jade Cargill will defeat Asuka in the Queen of the Ring tournament final. If plans hold, Cargill will go on to challenge WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at SummerSlam, potentially on August 2 or 3.
The report adds that this move appears to be WWE revisiting its original plans for Cargill, who was previously slated to win the Women’s Championship and defend it against Nia Jax at WrestleMania 41, before an injury in late 2024 forced a change in direction.
The projected SummerSlam clash between Cargill and Stratton also implies that Naomi, the current Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase holder, is unlikely to cash in before that championship match takes place.
In another possible spoiler, as PWMania.com previously reported, Hikuleo has been spotted in Saudi Arabia ahead of the show, fueling speculation that the younger brother of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa could debut. With Jacob Fatu set to defend his United States Title against Solo Sikoa, many believe Hikuleo may get involved in the bout, potentially aligning with either side or impacting the finish.
